                                                    Student Success Statement

"What you are as a person is far more important than what you are as a basketball player"

-John Wooden

I believe this quote means being someone famous, important, etc
doesnt describe who you are. What really matters is your true self in the inside that shows what kind of person is within you.

"True wealth is of the heart, not of the purse."

Pathros
Patriarch of Antioch & All the East,1846-'94

I think this quote means the value is within you, it doesn't come from the purse which means money.
Strive instead for happiness, to be loved and to love, and most important to acquire peace of mind and serenity.” Money doesn't always buy you happiness. Because ones that money is gone you will not have nothing left.

Reflection: No, I would not like to be a dentist. The reason why not is because in order to be a dentist you have to have patience in cleaning some other people’s mouth and you need the strength and flexibility in your hands if you’re going to work like that with many people.

"When I do Good, I feel Good, When I do Bad, I feel Bad".
                               - Abraham Lincoln-

 Reflection:
in my opinion i believe this quote means if you do something incredible then you feel happy/good about yourself and when you do something bad you feel some what guilty. For example, you had a week to study for a big test and you did anything possible in studying so that you can get a really high and good grade, then once you take the test and get it back you have 96% A, then you feel good and proud of yourself for doing the right thing in order to get a good grade. An example for "when i do bad" is lets say through out the years in middle school you did really bad and really didnt care about your grades , but then since it was day to announce who is going to culminate they didnt call you because of lack of assignments etc. So you feel bad because your watching everybody cross stage while your the only one maybe getting laughed out for not focusing in education.
                                                         Chiropractor

Duties and Responsibilities: A chiropractor is a person who practices chiropractic, specializing in the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of disorders of the neuromusculoskeletal system and the effects of these disorders on general health.

Salary: Median $149,758

Education: The typical applicant at a chiropractic college has already acquired nearly four years of pre-medical undergraduate college education, including courses in biology, inorganic and organic chemistry, physics, psychology and related lab work. Once accepted into an accredited chiropractic college, the requirements become even more demanding — four to five academic years of professional study are the standard. Because of the hands-on nature of chiropractic, and the intricate adjusting techniques, a significant portion of time is spent in clinical training.

Reflection: No, I would not like to be one because what if your actually hurting them causing them more pain then what they already have had in the beginning.
