Class/ Self Evaluation

The thing that i liked about this class was that everyday you would learn something new based on the quotes that were given to us on the student success statement. Some things that i didnt like was that we had to type everyday, It was like whatever. I think i did ok in this class i would do some of the work, but i did get better in typing. I remeber some of the letters. Yes i am commited to being a CTR person because if you are one then good and positive things come in your way, and you dont have to face any obstacles.

This quote means that you should always choose the right. The reason why is because when you do not choose the right then karma can come back to you and get you in many horryfing and worse ways. If you choose the right then you wont have any obstacles nor anyting blocking your path because you know you are a CTR person.

 I believe this quote means that if we do the right thing then we shouldn't be scared nor panic about it. We shouldn't be scared of getting in trouble because if you do the right thing you wont get in trouble because you know you did something right. You will get rewarded. CTR persons always do what is right and they are living without fear. People who choose the wrong are always in risk of getting caught when they do something bad. They know they might end up in jail sooner or later. For example an immigrant that just came from Mexico to the united states and illegally here. They are going to live with fear. The fear of what if I get caught..

This quote means that if you answered yes to the questions above you are a CTR person. CTR persons always succeed. They always do what is best. If people can trust you to do what's right then that is good.Also this states thats you need people that can trust you,committed on doing your very best and treat others the way you want to be treated.I agree with this quote because its true you need to follow the 3 questions with the answer yes.Also I do agree because I do all these things with an answer yes and I choose the right.An example is if you think these questions are no good then you could think that and fail.Another example would be if your friends avoid these questions and they may be choosing the wrong.Dont follow what your friends do do whats best for you and choose the right.

Oncologist

Duties and Responsibilities: Oncology specialist collect medical histories and perform evaluations in addition to basic administrative duties, such as maintaining records, coordinating with other medical personnel, and managing the work staff. They also perform a wide variety of diagnostic procedures to ascertain the condition of tissues and to detect cancer. Diagnostic procedures include scanning techniques, such as x-rays and magnetic resonance imaging, as well as surgical operations and biopsies. Treatment options include chemotherapy, radiation therapy, and the surgical removal of cancer. Oncology professionals may also perform procedures to treat regions of the body affected by cancer treatment. For instance, a gynecologic oncologist may perform surgery to a patient's gastrointestinal tract that has been adversely affected by treatment.

Salary: $217,856

Education: Typical oncology specialist may have as much as 15 years of advanced education and training, which includes undergraduate studies, medical school, and one or more residency training programs. Additionally, licensure is required to practice as a physician. The American Board of Medical Specialties certifies oncology physicians in five specialized areas, including radiation, medical, surgical, and pediatric oncology.

Reflection: No, I wouldn’t like to be one.

       Health Sciences Librarian

Duties and Responsibilities: Medical librarians are information specialists who provide assistance in finding medical documents. Clinical trials, medical treatments or procedures, as well as other pertinent information that applies to the medical industry are common documents sought after by these librarians. Medical librarians are specialized in using databases and reference materials to conduct research for medical information. They can work in medical school libraries, corporations, non-profit organizations or government agencies. Medical librarians commonly have training in the sciences, health or medicine. They might also be trained in the information sciences to acquire the skills needed to maintain databases.

Salary: $55,690 for all librarians

Education: Students must graduate from high school, taking classes such as English, math, typing, and science. A four-year bachelor's degree is then required, including courses such as science and computer science. A master's degree in library science (MLS) is mandatory. Courses include scientific literature, biomedical communication, bibliographic resource use, library organization and management, and standard cataloging systems. While health science librarians are not required to be certified, the Medical Library Association does offer certification examinations which would help a librarian advance to a higher position.

Reflection: No, I wouldnt like to be one, because i doesnt interest me,

 This quote means that if you do something good and have positive influences around you you'll get something good in return but if you do something bad and hang out with the wrong people it can get to you. For example, if you go to school everyday you'll be able to graduate. other people who skip school to go drug deal and stuff have a larger chance of going to prison and not achieving goals. Also, if good people are around you all the time you'll achieve anything you put your mind to. Another example is, if your friends influence you to drink at parties their not good people. That always leads to a bad consequence. If they take you to go study at the library that's the right way to be successful.
