                     Health Educator
Duties and Responsibilities: Health educators teach people about behaviors that promote wellness. They develop and implement strategies to improve the health of individuals and communities. Community health workers collect data and discuss health concerns with members of specific populations or communities.

  • ·         Creating health-related materials, such as posters and websites
  • ·         Helping people find the appropriate health services or information
  • ·         Advocating for improved health resources and policies
  • ·         Collecting data and other information to analyze needs and evaluate programs
  • ·         Preparing reports for management and other stakeholders


Salary: Median pay (annual): $41,830
             Median pay (hourly): $20.11

Education: A bachelor's degree or higher in health education, public health education or health promotion.
